Welcome to Space Node South and an inspiring talk on Space Technology and Additive Manufacturing.
Weight optimization, resource efficiency and durability are some possible benefits with Additive Manufacturing, which can contribute to upstream space solutions. Additively build settlements in Space, might be a reality in a future not too far away.
During such an adventure, we also hope to innovate solutions suitable for grounded and present needs here on Earth. Additive Manufacturing techniques combined with a dimension of Space can provide for our daily life and a sustainable future.
Among the speakers, you will find some true specialists within the area of Additive Manufacturing:
• Christo Dordlofva, PhD, Luleå University of Technology
• Adam Engberg, Research engineer, Uppsala University
• Dr. Maksym Plakhotnyuk, CEO and founder, Atlant 3D
We will also be joined by Maria Lindblom – Ideon Innovation
and Björn Lovén – Swedish National Space Agency.
