Vill du veta mer om vad ett innovationsdistrikt är och hur Lund arbetar med sitt innovationsdistrikt? Under oktober och november finns tre tillfällen att lära sig mer. Den 18 oktober kommer styrgruppen, som består av Kristina Eneroth, vicerektor på Lunds universitet, Pia Kinhult, ESS och Anders Almgren, Lunds kommunstyrelses ordförande att ge en översikt och diskutera ämnet i ett arrangemang. Under Lund EU Days den 15 november finns ytterligare två tillfällen. Representanter från flera stora företag i Lund kommer under en session att fördjupa sig i hur unika samarbeten i Lund har drivit innovation och tillväxt i regionen. Därefter diskuterar en panel hur Lund Innovation District genom att vara en lekplats för demos och testbäddar ger speciella möjligheter för forskare, entreprenörer och företag att testa och förfina sina idéer i en verklig miljö.
Hur jobbar Lund med sitt innovationsdistrikt? Lunds universitet och Lunds kommun har gett Future by Lund med partners i uppdrag att katalysera arbetet med att samskapa Lund som internationellt innovationsdistrikt. Arbetet görs bland annat för att vi i Lund tillsammans ska öka kapaciteten att lösa komplexa och delade utmaningar. Arbetet utgår från en styrgrupp som består av Anders Almgren, Lunds kommunstyrelses ordförande, Pia Kinhult, ESS och Kristina Eneroth, vicerektor på Lunds universitet.
